I would be skeptical of using this type of connection for your coach to a commercial supplied generator. Obviously, the small round center pin receptacle is most likely intended for the ground but seeing that the generator sits on rubber tires, then what is this ground connected to other than the chassis of the generator trailer?
It may not be a true ground and if it isn't then you will be exposed to a potentially dangerous situation.
Regardless of what you end up doing, you MUST have an EMS system such as the Progressive Ind. one in between the generator and your coach's power distribution system to make sure that your electronic components remain undamaged due to poorly delivered generator power.

You won't find that plug at Home Depot or Lowes. If Grainger won't sell to you try an Electrical Wholesale Distributor in you area. You shouldn't have any problem there.

A good source for the plug is Graybar Electric. They have locations all around the country.

Make sure that they are are really handing you 50 amp at that plug. Unfortunately, having been on many temporary power jobsites, fairs, large outdoor gatherings, I know they use the same cord and connectors for 120v 20amp as they do for 240v 50amp. It's easier for them to simply use a single type of cable and connector to make all their legs and junctions in many lengths than it is to stock/carry/deliver 4 different types of cables and connectors having to worry with gauge, distance and connector type.

If the rental company can't supply you with the correct adapter, I would complain like hell and get a different rental co.
What happens if you make an adapter up, plug it in and short the hole system or some part of it out.

I looked just a minute ago and there are three Hubbell CS6365C connectors listed on EBay if you want to try it.

On the particular connector the ground is the metal shroud that is around the power pins. The hole you see is only for centering and is not conductive.

Ok
Got RV renovators in Mesa, AZ to install an adaptor. Plugged the round part into a commercial 600 amp generator. The other end had the new typical 50 amp box. I used electric meter to verify the power and walla! I've got the right power.
