Bob, I think you're definitely correct on that assumption. I've read there's something like a damper motor/switch in there causing the problem but trying to arrange for someone to come out to the house (where the coach is parked) to remove that 71 lb thing and repair it is slowing things down for now. With back and hip problems it's something I can't do myself even though I'm sure I know where all the attachments holding it in place are.
