This is probably going to show my ignorance in electricity but here goes. I just posted about the 9280 converter, it is to replace my WFCO 65 amp. But this is what I am thinking, I have 6 6 volt batteries and I am considering putting the 65 amp back in service also which would give me a total fo 145 amp charging capacity. This is equal to the engine 145 amp alternater. I guess my question is if the engine alternator doesn't damage the stock situation of 3 batteries how would two converters at a total of 145 amps damage 7 batteries?

I believe that one converter will fake out the other converter to belive that the batteries are charged and would not do what you intend. Sorry. A higher amp three stage charger would be a way to get there faster. Good luck and take care.
