Here is the problem: Neither cab heat nor motoraid are working. I've located a hose bib valve on the driver side radiator hose just before the oil pan and one in the front of the coach just before what looks to be an "H" valve near the heater coil. I have both hose bib valves open(counter clockwise) and I still get no hot water flow to the front.

Am I missing something obvious? Or, is there another valve I'm missing? Or do I need to pull the hotwater heater to see if I can determine the cuase?

Really hope it's something simple.

ANY ideas are welcome.

Thanks all,
Rick

My Journey has two valves near the engine - one near the radiator and one near the transmission. I have a different year and a different model but you might take a look for the another valve.

Thanks Bob! I will certainly get under it again when I get home. Sure hope that's it! Just another note, the one valve I did locate is between the 3" radiator hose and a 1/2" hose petcock. I'm assuming this is the engine located one. I'll look further up the line for the tranny one.

Rick, FYI, the ones on my RV are on a 1//2 or 3/4 inch hose.

I double and triple checked and there is only one gate valve near the engine and one in the front of the coach. I did check it after a trip this past weekend and realized that before the gate valve, the hose wasn't hot. In fact, the main radiator pipe that feeds this smaller pipe was warm but not hot after 3 hours of driving.

The previous owner had the valves closed forever since they only used the coach during the summer. I wonder if the coolant level is super low or there is an air lock somewhere in the system?

Again, thanks for all the help.

Rick
