Does anyone know the best way to repair a crack in the plastic of a freezer? Does this even make a difference, I assume they are like regular fridges and have insulation behind the plastic lining?

I have had cracks in the shelves in the doors. I used "Crazy Glue" to hold it together, then I used white duct tape to strengthen it. Seems to work well.

The swelling of the foam insulation injected on the back side of the lining continue to expand and can cause this liner to crack. Another way is to put something hot inside it to defrost it. The sudden temperature change can also crack the liner. All one can do is glue and tape over it. I think white eternabond would work very well on a large crack. something thinner should be fin on smaller cracks.

Try a hot glue gun. Use the glue that stays soft. Let the surface come to room temperature and rough up the surface slightly with fine sandpaper. Apply a bead to the crack. If the crack is wide don't try to fill it all at once, fill-let dry, fill-let dry, the glue dries fast. Overlap the crack slightly.

white plastic vertical blinds are made of same material.

Get sprinkler pipe glue, cut patch and glue it in.
