I think this has been covered before, we keep our Rig at a seasonal site, Honey wagon comes in when we call to pump out our tanks. We need the wagon every 3 weeks, which means at 100 degrees our tanks build up a bit of smell between dumps. Our Rig had the standard round flush vent cover over the 1 1/2" vent pipe. Today i went up, took apart the old vent, replaced with the Cyclone, the Rig immediately became odor free. I will see how it performs over time, but so far so good, G

Let us know how it goes. Frankly, I'm surprised the cyclone helps. The black tank should not get extra smelly anyway, even at 100 degrees. Ours often sits for long periods of time and we don't use any chemicals at all. Maybe that's the problem - try it without chemicals for awhile.

It is better if you will properly put or plumb the cyclone vent. Because even a gentle breeze impacts can powerfully pulls odors up and away.

We replaced ours with a cyclone this spring. With a little over 15,000 miles this year it's working great ! A piece of our flat cap was broke off and every now and then in a crosswind the water would get blown out of the shower and bath sink traps causing the odor.

Chances are if we replaced it with a flat cap like the original, it would also have solved the problem, but I'm happy with the Cyclone.
