Damp weather impacting heater?

Bought a Fleetwood Flair in fall of 2016, new. Started traveling and our house heater at times would not light. You could hear the fan and it would try to light three times then nothing. Had it in to dealer three times, they could not get it to fail. Been back east have had no problems then back here in Oregon heater failed. Now I think I have a theory. In raining weather it won’t start. Recalling when we first took it out and having all the problems it was raining. Could my theory be true. Any help or suggestions other than don’t go out in the rain.

Do you ever shut the gas off?

Mine has a heck of a time coming back on after we shut the gas off. Usually takes a purge w/ all 3 stove burners on and a lighter near them to get the lines purged of air.

Moisture intrusion can be a problem for DSI systems. Can you see the heaters directly and observe any moisture? Might have to remove a drawer or two depending on where your units are stuffed.

Atwood has some issues with circuit board location.....very low in furnace and water intrusion

Atwood has a 'reloaction kit' that will reposition circuit board up off floor of furnace box

Now if this is some other brand.......???
