Hi friends, I hate to beat a dead horse, but I just cant find the problem to get my Dash controls to work! I have a 96 Dynasty. A beautiful Coach in and out! Haven't had it long and now the heater, air and blower are dead! I have tried everything I know and some I was told! If your good at this sort of a deal, please help me! With the key ON, all three rows of fuses show no juice with test light hooked to the ground bolt, except the top 15A fuse in the center fuse row! All this in the front Run Bay! With the key off, the fuse strip on the left row are all hot! The center still has that top 15a fuse hot and the rest cold as are the fuses cold on the left row! All the round large fuses in the rear bay, and are on each side of the duel battery conect solenoid and are 80 and 150 Amps, read 13volts! Nowhere is there a mention of a Blowe fuse! I have the instament are of the dash pulled out as far as I dare, and find no power to the blower control connector with the key on! I find no juice to the connector of the resistor in the Generator bay, on the heater core box! The blower was sounding real good the last it ran! If you have any helpful idea I will forever be in your debt! I have many hours trying to find a fix for this. Many thanks, allegro5> greatallegro5@aol.com

If you have power at the rear and none at the front, you either have a over-current protection device fault or an incomplete circuit. I would suspect a bad relay if fuse or circuit breaker is good. Does the coach have a Battery Control Center from RV Custom Products?

Hi friends, Especially RV Wizard who answered before! As to my dead front bay fuses on my 96 Dynasty> I went threw the rear run bay and re cleand and tightened everything! Happy days, all the fuses in the front bay are now hot! Still the dash blower wont blow! No juice to the conector behind the blower nob! BUT there is power to the conector behind the Mode nob! That points to the A/C, to the defrost and the directions for the air to blow! I find all the fuses in the front run bay are hot! I see no inline fuse holders behind the gauges dash area, as I still have it pulled out aways! Is the dash control bad or what? Many thanks for advice! allegro5 greatallegro5@aol.com

Check to be sure they are not trying to control the ground side; measure resistance to frame ground. Also check motor resistor pack for open circuit.

Mr Rv Wixard, was it you that knows the thermal fuse # from Radio Shack? The Shack had just three ranges and I bought all three. But I dont know which is okay to use in the heater box resister! If you know thanks, allegro5 greatallegro5@aol.com

NAPA should be able to match up the resistor pack for your dash blower. The coils are just high wattage resistors that drop voltage to blower motor and can withstand the current draw of the motor.

I channged the Thermal fuse on the resister (Radio Shack $1.69) But it was the blower motor shot! The resister works too! I have a 96Dyn, and the safest and by far easiest way was to cut a hole in the lower Dash skirt! Seems most 90s Dyns have the basic same dash. The motor is almost touching the inside of the skirt, and has a 4'' deep fan cage, so other wise you have to remove the skirt which inturn is screwed up into the Dash top! If you need the measurements email me! I may put a bicture of an old girlfriend over the hole! If the wife wont mind!!! allegro5>> greatallegro5@aol.com PS the motor is $32. at NAPA

YOu said "The ground bolt"
From your description I'm not sure that is a ground bolt
Try a different ground, a bracket or something in the neighborhood.

I put in a new in-dash blower motor by cutting a hole in the lowere skirt! May I add, I am sure I can find a good match in vinyl and have an upholstery shop recover the lower skirt where I cut the hole to get the motor out! For now I screwed a nice new butcher Oak cutting board there! Looks okay, but not original! May put a picture of Lassie or Triger there! Ha! The great thing is I have dash heat, air and defrost! allegro5
