I HAD TO REMOVE MY FRIDGE TO REPAIR THE ICE MAKER LINE. FISH TANK HOSE? CRACKED AND BRITTLE.REPLACED WITH PEX TUBING.
COACH LEVEL(AUTO LEVEL) FRIDGE COOLED FOR ONE DAY.(RIGHT TEMP INSIDE) MOVED THE CUBE ADJUSTMENT TO SMALLER TO START, ADJUSTED TO A BIT LARGER CUBE,WATER DRIPPED DOWN THE REAR PANEL INSIDE FREEZER. TRAY OVER FILLING? YES,(JUST IN THE REAR) CHECKED THE ACTUAL LEVEL OF THE ICE MAKER UNIT AND IT IS OUT OF LEVEL ON ITS MOUNTING PLATE.
THE WATER IS RUNNING OVER DURING THE TIMED FILL CYCLE BEFORE IT CAN SEEK ITS LEVEL IN THE CUBE HOLES. I HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH ICE BUILDING UP ON THE WALL IN THE REAR OF FRIDGE SENCE I BOUGHT IT. IF I CUT THE TIMED WATER FILL CYCLE BACK IT MAKES CUBES ABOUT 1/3 THE SIZE THEY SHOULD BE. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS

Hey Palehorse,

This looks like a "competent dealer fix."
You would not be asking if it was under warranty so the possible fix would be to level the refer yourself, then see what happens.
If you bought it new, Dometic has a warranty and I would have had the problem fixed, at their cost.

i took the 3 screws out that hold the ice maker on the metal plateand checked it out. I put the two front screws back in and raised the rear till level. The ice maker was tilting tward the back (out of level) 3/8". I put a plastic shim to bring it to level and maybe a pinch tward the front and my water leak (over fill) stopped. Now all the cubes are the same size and fat! Thank you for your input......

palehorse89,
A comment on the tubing- I found my hose was cracked and brittle too. The cause was the tubing was resting on the cooling coils after update/recall work was done. I rerouted the tubing to the side, away from, the coils and all is well for over 3 years now.

That is where i routed my tubing also. I also put a oversize bigger hose over the ice maker line just in case it ever would leak again the water would come out the bottom in one spot. I can't believe the factory would use such a cheap hose and then run it down through the hot coils? Thanks for your thoughts
