I have a 1997 newmar dutchstar with 2 13.5k dometic brisk airconditioners. the issue i am having is the rear unit loses communication with the thermostat which is a 5 button dometic thermostat.
the back unit still blows cold air but it cannot be controled.
hopefuly someone can point me in the right direction.
thanks Mike

Hi Mike, your back AC is controlled by that funny white cage on bedroom wall.
The small sensor will some times fall out of cage and drop down the wall, hope not.
If you back off the screws to cage and slowly remove from wall you may catch sensor on wire end and put a kink in wire and seal hole with sealant so will stay where it should, behind cage.
If it has dropped in wall you will have to wire fish hook it out to get it behind cage.
The sensor may have wire connectors to wire to therm-control unit so should be able to hook wires but be careful and not chip ceramic sensor.

If, you find the thermistor is in the proper position, check the connection of it on the control board. If it is OK, ohm it out; it should be in the neighborhood of 75k ohms at 70 degrees. Let us know what you find.
