Dometic 7401 won't cool in lp mode

I have a Dometic RM 7401 3-way refer. It works fine in 12 volt and 120 mode. The pilot light comes on but it doesn't cool in lp mode. The refer is in a friends rv. We live down in Mexico in a small village so there are no rv shops within 200 miles. I'm a retired Mechanic with a good deal of diagnostic tools and trouble shooting skills so let's see what we can figure out. Thank You

Here is a service manual for fridge.
You may need to check the gas burner tube for cob webs, the ceramic flame prob for a carbon build up and needs to be cleaned with clean cloth. All gas valves on and air trapped in line cleared by turning on gas stove.
Burner slots may have rust particles in slots that need to be vacuumed out and while your at it tap burner flue with paper covering slots to knock rust particles down from chimney flue.

Thanks 007. I checked the things you asked. Every thing is very clean, in new condition. The manual I downloaded doesn't specifically mention model 7401 it's for 7030 and 7732. I didn't see one for 7401. The igniter sparks but no ignition. If I applied 12 volts from an external source to the gas valves spade terminals would the selenoid open and allow gas to flow into the burner manifold? I thought that would give me basic information and I could start checking other components from there. I would use the proper precautions to avoid any dangerous situations.
