One of my A/C units failed yesterday, the fan motor seized. Unfortunately, the label on the motor has faded and I can't read the part number or any of the specs. It's a double shaft with a squirrel fan on one shaft and a 3 bladed fan on the other. Has anyone replaced one of these motors and do you have any advise on how to do it? I'm hoping I don't have to remove the condenser. If you have replaced the motor, where did you purchase the new unit?

The A/C unit is a Dometic brisk air 13.5BTU with a heat pump. I have no idea what the model number is, the plate on the unit says the manufacturer is a division of "Airexcel Inc." and the model number is nothing like a Dometic number.

ANY help is deeply appreciated, it's gonna be 108F here today

Thanks for your time.

My problem is solved. I e-mailed Airexcel this morning with my dilemma and all the details. Within an hour, I got a response from Eric in customer service. In fact, I do not have a Dometic Duo Therm unit, even though all of the documentation I received from the dealer and all paperwork says I have two of them. They are both Coleman Mach HP units

The motor part number is 1468-3109. And, if you ever have to replace it I found a great site that gives detailed instructions with photos on how to do it.

Go here 2MANYTOYZ - Coleman A/C Motor Swap

They're predicting 108F today and for the coming week. One AC and a fan will have to do. . .oh yea, several cold adult beverages as well.
