Dometic Cooling Unit

Today my refer died. Ammonia residue near the burner. Looking at options I found an outfit called RV Cooling Unit Warehouse at RV Cooling Unit Warehouse LLC Home Page. The prices seemed pretty good and they have an Amish manufactured unit for my Dometic NDR 1062 for $500. Does anyone have any experience with this outfit good or bad??

Thanks

I looked into getting one of their cooling units last year. They were extremely nice and even mailed me the replacement instructions, so I could decide if I would be doing the replacement myself. I had some friends, that had the yellow residue of death on their burner assembly. I ended up getting a brand new Dometic OEM cooling unit, for $200.

If I ever need to get another cooling unit, I will get it from RV cooling unit warehouse.

This past summer we purchased a new cooling unit for our NOCOLD 1200. My DW and I installed it. Dave Force was great to work with and answered all of my questions. We would do it again. The new "Amish" unit is a lot heavier than what we took off, with more coils. The company was very good to work with.
