Kind of a newbie and may remain so if I keep having problems.
Have a 03 Lexinton GTS. I had some electrical problems which dealer supposedly fixed and brought it home yesterday. Now fridge, which worked fine previously, blows my home gfi when I plug in and turn fridge on. Controls do what they are supposed to and switch to Gas mode when the AC goes off.
Guess I take it back, again, tomorrow.

Hi lexgts,
Welcome to iRV2. If you had a coach without problems, that is when you stay a newbie. Problems get you to "Advanced Owner" status quickly.

You've made the best choice to return it to the dealer. In the future, I ensure the tech knows everything is working before he lays a hand on the coach. Either he or I will press all the buttons and start all the appliances first. I do the same thing before I leave (usually without the tech). If something is not right, I do not leave until it is returned to the way it was when I arrived.

Hi this is my first time I Have a dometic fridge in a 1998 Discovery it works great but the handle on the right door is broken and having a devil of time finding a replacement. Makes it very difficult to open the door always need two hands to open it. Any ideas?

Welcome to irv2 lexgts.
Tell your dealer you may have a defective heating element on your fridge and trips a GFI outlet.
If they did a recall they may have screwed it up which is happening allot lately.

Hi joyceverkaik,
Welcome to iRV2. Your post kind of hijacks lexgts's thread. Consider starting your own thread with a title that may get you the answer you need. Based on your post, gut feel says RV salvage places are your best bet. As a last resort, consider purchasing a plain handle and fastening it to the refer door.

Google "rv salvage" to see quite a few businesses you can inquire about a handle.
