I watched the entire install. He installed 4 or 5 pieces of sheet
metal. One under the burner, one behind it, one surrounding it, two
on the round stack, one to enclose the existing sensor and one to
install a new sensor in front and in back to mount what looked like a
fuseable link to maybe open the 12V supply if a fire caused it to
melt. He replaced some wiring to incorporate the new sensor and
fuseable link. He had a great deal of trouble with the sheet metal
because my cover (opening was offset about 4 inches left of the stack
so he had poor access to the stack area. He nearly quit and told me
the fridge would have to be pulled to get access BUT I encouraged him
to try harder and he did some extra dis-assembly to get access. It
took him almost an hour but would have been about a 30 minute job if
the access would have been better. TED

Why is there a recall on the Dometic Refridgerator? Is it one one model or many?

My cooling unit on mine leaked all over again for the second time. The recall repair stopped it from catching on fire. New cooling unit do in next week. Dometic sure stands behind there frig.
