The fan on our Dometic frig will run, quit for a moment, then run again. It may keep this up for 30 minutes or so. Then another times it doesn't run at all. It seems to cool fine. Is this type of fan action normal?

The fans are controlled by a thermal disc type thermostat. As long as the unit is cooling properly and the fan runs when needed to dissipate the heat from the condensor it is normal for it to cycle. The length of time it is on or off is dependent on several variables; ambient temperature, point of cooling set point and how long it has been sense it has cycled off.
