Dometic NDR1292 Thermistor Replacement??

Has anyone replaced their thermistor on their refridgerator with this one

Dometic Thermistor Repair Kit

If so my question is this, what setting do you keep the actual frige on? the replacement thermistor is adjustable but I can't find anywhere what setting to put the frige on, or if it matters.

Anyone know? I have looked at every site I can about this replacement and cannot find one that lets me contact anyone. I went to the actual home page for Snip-the-Tip but it would not allow me to do anything wiht the contact button.

Dinosaur thermistor

I looked at that product, but decided to buy this instead: Dinosaur thermistor adjuster

I actually remembered I had an email from the shipping so I wrote to it in hopes of getting a tech answer. I just received a reply back and according to them for my fridge I can use both the Dometic setting panel as well as the setting dial on the new thermistor. They siad to use the built in at a setting in the middle and then fine tune the temp with the internal dial. So Will install it this weekend and see how she goes.

I used the snip the tip and it has worked fine. I ordered the one that will set the temperature lower than the factory setting. I told them that when I ordered mine.
