I am about to install the above in our motorhome but do not want to do so if I can't find a couple of shelves and an intact light fixture for the lower section. Does anyone have a lead on where I can get Dometic parts here in Canada.

If worser comes to worser I will order out of the states as long as the supplier will ship USPS.

Thanks and mods if this request should be located somewhere else please feel free to move it.

I would be very surprised if Dometic will be able to provide parts for a refrigerator that old. Your best bet might be to find parts from someone who does RV refrigerator repair. They sometimes keep old ones around for parts.

But it might be worth a try to contact Dometic directly first.

Dometic

Possum,

Kurmudgeon is correct. The RM760 is no longer manufactured by Dometic. And hasn't been for some time.

Here are some part numbers which may help you:

Upper Shelf .....2002652234
Lower Shelf .....2002652218
Lamp Assy ......2007282003
Cooling Unit .....9285319001

I was unable to locate any of these parts at any of the major distributors I deal with.

You might consider installing a newer 'replacement' model, instead.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses. It's hard to beat free and I will start a quest for parts by hitting all the RV repair places I can find here on Vancouver Island. I do appreciate the inclusion of the part numbers and I will let you know how I make out. I have tested the fridge on both 110 and propane and it works very well on both.

When they no longer have a part in stock they normally do not list a price and they are listing a price so:
Go to this web site (Service Documents) and select the DTI RV parts company link just above the table of manuals

In the "Search by Category" drop down select Refrigerators
In the search tree select Dometic Refrigerator
In the search tree scroll down and select Rm760
In the search tree select Cabinet Asembly

Parts are listed with prices. You can see the diagram by selecting show diagram
Call them using the number listed at the bottom of the screen for parts availability. You may have luck given that the prices are listed.

Good Luck
Dave
