FIRE FIGHT IS BACK!

Many folks that view this forum have purchased Fire Safety products over the last couple years from Fire Fight 1. David Force’s “RV Cooling Warehouse” which is a hot topic here, also sells their line of superior products. Their Passive Auto Deploy fire extinguisher systems are used in race cars, yachts, Motor Coaches and even behind my Norcold 1200/Amish Cooling Unit “Hybrid” refrigerator.
This past year, the owner Ralph Kennerkuecht, was killed in a terrible accident at their Melbourne, Florida plant. Since then, his business partner, Jim Bounds, has worked tirelessly for months getting the company back on its feet and operational.
He has now opened a new facility in the Orlando area under the new company name of Fire Fight Products, llc. Their web site is still under construction but Jim is continuing to produce superior fire safety products that address our RVing Fire Prevention & Safety needs. Their contact information is on the link above.
I now carry one of their small SS-20AFFF Aerosol units in my motorcycle (which uses a non-corrosive foam unlike most corrosive dry chemical extinguishers) and they're ideal for an RV Kitchen or BBQ setup.
Glad to see that another small company, making a great product is back on it’s feet supplying us with what helps keep us & our loved ones safe.

If you still have a 1200 series Norcold cooling unit in your RV, at least consider installing one of these Passive Release Extinguishers or one like it. If I'm wrong, it did cost you some money . . . if I'm right, it might just save you and your family's lives.
The photo below is from an RV Park in Omaha, NE we stayed at this past summer. Luckily a neighbor saw the smoke, alerted the owners who were still in the RV and unaware of the fire and they were able to extinguish it before it got out of hand.
They had just had one of the recalls installed 2 days before the fire.

Mike,

I sure am glad and happy that I followed your example of changing out the Norcold 1201 cooling unit for the Amish Built cooling unit. I'm glad that Fire Fight was able to get back on their feet because they also build a great product.

Thanks again,
Sammie
