...and the problem was this: When powered on, the torque from the motor, caused it to turn and when it did, it would push against the electrical power connector(very bad design BTW). Over time, the insulator cracked from the pressure, which caused the connection to short out and blow the fuse.
Replace the fuse, turn on the awning, and if you get some movement at the awning, and then no power because of a blown fuse, most likely you have the same problem.
Easy fix, just remove the cover, bend the electrical connection over so that the motor can not contact it when "torqued."
While this advice is freely given, it cost me a $100 to find it out!
