I’m thinking maybe you can set up with just one meter with a DPDT switch. Some of the review comments say they have done it, just don’t know how.

Thanks

I have that exact meter and wired in a DPDT switch to the shunt so it would measure either current in or current out. Connect the two sensor wires to the center connectors, the 2 wires to the shunt on one end, and cross-connect those same two wires to the other end.

Any drawing available

You got exactly what I was hoping for

I’m just a little slow understanding stuff

I blame it on age age being raised during 60’s, 70’s.

Thanks for your efforts but I'm not sure I got it.

Something all garbled up came in on my email from njlwa - not sure that's you.

In addition to normal monitoring, we have a hydraulic wheelchair lift and I'm really interested in monitoring its 12V power use so I can figure out if I need to add a dedicated battery. Although we've had our MH for a year, we haven't been able to use it much and not at all off the grid. I have two 180 watt solar panels to install and my controller can charge two battery banks.

I see that you're a ham, so am I but I haven't installed any equipment yet. Other than the photos on your Facebook page, have you posted anything on what you've done?
