My '07 DSDP has 2 15K units and the front unit is erratic.

Sometimes it works properly in either AC or HP mode by running for the appropriate amount of time to bring the temperature up or down.

Most of the time it starts and stops within a minute or two in either AC or HP mode.

Sometimes I have to adjust the Control Center to the upper or lower limit to get it to come on at all.

I was thinking it was more related to the front unit rather than the Control Center.

But this morning I awoke to no heat, and although the bar under zone one was flashing, neither heat pump nor the furnace would start.

I turned the Control Center off and back on and the furnace started immediately.

Now I'm starting to wonder if the 5 button Control Center is the problem. A system reset did not help.

Dirk, have you checked the data cable connections on each end? Usually the cable is run from the T'stat on the wall to the rear roof unit and think linked to the front unit via another data cable. I would first check these connections. If this does not correct the problem you might ask a friend with the same T'stat if you could borrow theirs to verify if it is the t'stat. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Mike, I have thought about removing the CC from the wall and checking the connections. It looks like there's a tab at the bottom that releases it.

I'll check the roof connections also.

I'm back home in an area with no other RVs around, so I can't swap units.

Thanks.
