Have a duo-therm 5 button control center that the heater wants to run all the time in the heater mode. Have to turn off the control to off position to make it stop running.
Power shut down then came back on. The furnace was on at this time. That is when the trouble started.
Is there a way to reprogram the control center?

Without knowing your furnace brand, this is the best I have to offer: Service Documents Locate your furnace brand and download the service manual. The 5 button thermostat service manual is included. I seem to remember that holding in both the temp down and mode button resets the thermostat, but not sure.

For 5 button reset:

SYSTEM RESET
  • Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position.
  • Simultaneously depress and hold the MODE and ZONE push-buttons while turning the ON/OFF switch to ON. FF should appear in the LCD display until the MODE and ZONE push-buttons are released.

Duo-Therm control

RV control setup for Duo-Therm system.

You have control boards in AC unit's that feed to other AC & Furnace.
If you have trouble with first AC control unit maybe able to swap rear control in AC with front control as someone has done, your trouble may not be in furnace but in a AC control board feeding from DUO-THERM control.

You did not say if the system was working correctly and then started having a problem. If the T'stat reset does not correct the problem, the dip switch settings should be checked. Someone may have changed a board or roof unit and not set the switches to the proper configuration for the number and type of units in your coach. These dip switches are located on the control board inside the roof unit. What you will need to do is verify all dip switches are off but for the application of setting them for a heat pump if you have one or more, set the front unit up for one furnace and both units for two furnaces. Let us know what you find and what specific equipment you have for heating and air conditioning.

The heater is usually controlled by the control box in the front AC unit.
If you take the white cover off the AC you will see the control box inside.
Look at the manual already provided in a previous link You will see that there are two wires usually black controlling the heater. All the AC control panel dose is close a relay contact to short out so to speak these two wires.
If you unplug these wires and jumper the plug at the end of the wires. the heater should start if it does not you have a heater problem. If is starts you have a problem with the control box. Replacement boxes can be fround for around $100.00
