Camping World shows this unit and it looks like it just replaces the vent cover. But a review on the Camping World web site indicates that one person returned the unit because installation required removing of the full AC unit to get to the wiring required. On my unit, it appears that the wires all go into a box just above the grill. Since I can not find the installation manual online, I don't know if his problems were due to the way his AC was installed or if removal of the AC is required in all cases. I have sent an email to Duo-Therm asking that question but had not yet received a reply.
Does anyone have experence with this unit? And can post information about the installation requirements?
