Been wanting to add a fireplace to motorhome, more for the fact just kicks. Got email from Harbour Freight and they had something that looked like a good match.

So with little table saw work I got it to size that worked for the area, The color was also a good match to the factory so all in all pretty pleased need to figure out a way to secure it in place a little more secure.

That is a great wood match & it fits perfectly there. I've got my eye on one at Lowes & will see how much they'll mark it down at the end of the season.

Great job. You'll love it.

We bought our new DP off the lot and it came with a fireplace. I remember thinking that it was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard of but it came with the coach and there was nothing we could do about it.

Turns out it's one of our favorite features after >4 years and 40000 miles.

Yours will provide more warmth though because you did it yourself!

Enjoy

Rick

There was not a lot of options for placement so lucked out on size and color was the biggest concern and yes it matched very well., I lucked out on price normally 159.00 on sale for 119.95 and had 20% discount ..so out door for around 95.00.

Looks GREAT! For space's sake, I went with one from a local dealer; A duraflame model that looks like a small woodstove, but the ambiance is great. I hope yours gives you all the enjoyment that it promises!

We looked at the stove type fireplaces at Lowes and CW. We finally got one last season from Sams Club. It's a few dollars cheaper and better quality, and it actually heats up the room.
