Hi Tracy, welcome to the forum. You will find many friendly and helpful people here to help you out. You will probably have better luck posting your question under MH problems and discussion or under the type MH you have. Good luck.

You say it SOUNDS like it's flushing but it's not.. I can think of two possible issues. But first... Describe exactly what happens.

Normal flush cycle:

Water is added.. Then the macerator pump "Vacuums" the waste down the line, chopping it up as it goes, and sends it to the black tank.. Then it pauses.. then it fires off a second time to get any "Drips" then it refills with water

Is it doing the initial water fill

Is the pump then kicking in (Watch please)
Does the level drop at all when the pump kicks in

If it goes down, but only a little. and then drops slowly after over-filling a bit (not overflowing)

The two options are:

1: Clogged (like any other toilet
2: Bad pump (Broken impeller)

I have an electric Thetford toilet and had a similar problem. Only difference was that mine flushed and then wouldn't close the flusher valve. Turned out there was a nylon worm drive gear inside the mechanism that broke. You can't buy just the worm gear (probably a $2 part) and have to replace the entire flush mechanism. If the motor runs but the valve doesn't open, then you most likely need to replace the flush mechanism.

If the macerator pump is running but not pulling waste or water out of bowl, I think, you will find, it is clogged. I have had to clean out many of them.

Have no clue.. Never had that problem.. Sorry. Might be the valve the other person (After me) suggested.... I did not know there was one.

I tried downloading a manual but... alas, Not much help... If I had the exact model it might help.

We noticed that our macerator doesn't work so well when we are plugged into poor quality electrical service. It seems to need more power and or voltage.
Actually, the batteries have to be at full charge for it to work. Strangely, it is the chassis battery that is the determining factor.

As someone said, if the tank is full or if you are out of water it won't work.

Pull the toilet and dismantle rubber boot off pump inlet. Remove debris and reassemble.
