I bought a surge Gaurd where is the wire and the display monitor, is it inside or what?

This thing works Great Awesome !!

I enjoy watching it to see how many amps in drawing at any time.
If I had 10 campers I'd have one in each!

You made a good choice! I had the HW50C in a 5er that we pulled for 10 years, and put one on the MH we bought last year. Wouldn't leave home without it!

Once the remote monitor is installed, create and post a error chart in case the need arises.
Be aware of the bypass switch on the display.

Bypass
This switch is located on the remote panel, and allows the user to bypass the computer circuit in the EMS in the event of computer failure, this allowing AC power into the RV. This does not disable the surge protection portion of the EMS; however, all other features are disabled.


In other words, if power doesn't come on inside coach, try another pedestal first. And, if you have an error code, don't use the bypass switch!
