Erratic Propane Tank Level Reading?

We recently were in the Big Horn Mountains dealing with a little cold snap. We ran our level down to 1/8th tank or so.

We haven't filled it and are now having some odd readings on the inside SeeLevel I Tank Indicator, Garnet Instruments LTD. The level reading bounces all over the place from full on down. Setting at 3/8 right now.

Any thoughts?

IF the tank is down to 1/8 full, you might be at the limits of the gauge itself. If convenient, try putting several gallons in and see what the gauge reads, then add some more and check the gauge, then top it off and check again. There may not be anything wrong with it. Just sayin'.
