I do not want add a valve that can be add an external tank. So which one do I use Mr Heater Corp - Stay Flow - Propane Hoses and Adapters - Camping World

or do I use this one www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/propane-adapter-tee/30336

and buy one of these also Propane Hose Assemblies with Swivel Ends - Product - Camping World

This is probably what you are looking for LP Adapters

I would go with the Stay-a-while or.. Well, I went with it's orignal the Marshall Brass "Extend-a-stay" near as I can tell from the lit they are equivalents.

The Extend-a-stay" came with a 5' Tank (inlet) hose and a 10' Grill (Accessory extension" hose. It works well with a 25 or possible 50 pound LB bottle, I'd need a longer hose if I use hundred poundes but that's easy to arrange.

Very pleased with it..

Contains a full set of check valves so you do not have to worry about opening or closing valves, capping/plugging lines and such, if there is no tank attached the inlet closes off internally, If there is no main tank attached that inlet closes off.

Very nice unit.

The 4-port looks like what I have... (Oh, and for Mr. Wizard, I got mine before I ever heard of IRV2.. Just so you know.. Also my mother once did a consult for Marshall Brass, They had a problem with one of their computer controlled machines and she happened to be rather good with computers)

I just ordered one of these with the 12ft hose. It was cheaper than Camping World by a few cents shy of $8.00 bucks.
Thanks for the link.

You are very welcome. Be sure to test for any leaks when you get it put on with dish washing soap and water. If no bubbles around fittings , then you are good to go.

The "Tee" goes between the tank cut off valve and the regulator. Remove the regulator dust cover, turn off the LP gas valve and disconnect the regulator from the valve. Screw the "tee" into the valve and the regulator into the "tee". Test for leaks and reinstall the dust cover. Make sure the regulator vent is pointing down. Keep us posted.

Cover removed from regulator for clarity.

Paz. that one is newer than mine. (That one has a POL fitting to the tank and an ACME to the rig, Mine has only POL both ends. no reason to use an ACME on the rig end since that's always going to be a POL on this type of tank).

For those who do not know, POL is Prest-O-Lite also known as "Put on left" since it is a left hand thread, like the valve the fitting has inside threads.

The ACME is the new one with the big plastic right hand nut that screws on OVER the fitting,,, ACME tank side fitttings have POL threads and are reverse compatible, the "Grill" hose, however, is not... But the RV is not a grill

When I installed mine I didn't like the weight of the Tee hanging way out on the end like that.
I cut a piece of 1 X4 so that it was a slight interference fit between the outboard end of the Tee and the metal shelf below. I put some silicon adhesive on the bottom of the wood to make sure it stays in place.
It is solid now.
