WOW, thanks for all the replies!

we've pinpointed the problem with the break lights.. it was the device that the turn signal "control" is connected to that was preventing the proper signal from getting out (we think!)

so, now tomorrow i'm going to give the outlet issue another investigation.

i'm pretty sure it's probably an issue with the breakers like most of ya'll are saying..
:crosses fingers:

thank all of you again!

One thing I will add here if I've not already said it

Many RVers have a few screws loose.

No, not that kind, the kind you tighten usually, with a #2 Square or Roberson bit (Real screws)

Copper wire under a brass screw can work loose

With NO 120 VOLT power to the rig, (UNPLUG, KILL GENERATOR) open the breaker box and check EVERY SCREW in there, don't matter if the wire is WHITE, Black, Green, Red or bare, TIGHTEN the screw.

I had very flakey Air Conditioner operation when my rig was just a few months old.. Tightened everything in that box (Some of them over a full turn) and .. works fine now.

sweet, ya'll are all awesome!

there was another gfci outlet in the bathroom that my eyes just weren't letting me see.

got the brake lights and turn signals working.. we replaced the (turn signal lever, switch thing) and they're up and running.. for some reason there was a fault in that part and it needed to be replaced, for the longest time i thought it was a circuit breaker issue or something of the sort. it appears that the previous owner of our RV also spliced the line that the flasher box goes to so the flashers arent working, but atleast i'm street legal again.. whew.

all in all, i'm learning a lot about this.

Mr. "Wood". Glad you got the electrical issue taken care of. But please take the time to locate the little breaker switch on your inverter....if your rig is like my old Providence or Expedition, you'll trip it somewhere along the line and then you'll know exactly what to do.
