Some refers large Norcold and Dometic need cooling fans to keep the tubes in rear cool so refer temps in box get cold enough on a hot day.
My Norcold has them and on a hot day they are always on and off. Inside my box my beer is plenty cold.

My Dometic NDA1402 would not cool in the fridge below 46 degrees, although the freezer was cold.

As it turns out the fans in the rear of the unit were not turning because the thermal disc that is referenced in Roger's post was bad....

PLEASE make sure the fans aren't turning and THAT is your problem before arbitrarily replacing the thermal disc on the end of the condenser... MY thermal disc had no "continuity" between the contacts, thus it was easy to determine it was bad....

(Don't want there to be a parts run on thermal discs for the wrong reason...)

If you put a heater of some type at the bottom of your fridge access door aim the heat up into the wall chamber the heat from it should activate your fans up top off the refer. If its a 90* day they should be cycling off and on already. If not THAN you may need a switch plus you should have fans also or your going to have problems with warm beer.

I'll only order one Bob.
