I have a 3 way fridge in my Triple E (1995) Empress 36'
The other two are fine but when I select "gas" the flame ignites, burns for about 15 seconds then the solenoid shuts off the propane supply.
There probably is a high limit and a "no flame" (heat) detector someplace that is doing this.
Any help will save a holiday starting next week. (No fridge.....No wife on trip)

Try very lightly sanding the tip and down about 1/4" from the tip of the thermocouple and see if that will get it to stay lit.

Can you provide the make/model of refrigerator you have?
While many issues are common among all refrigerators, there can be some that are make/model specific. Armed with this information, someone may be able to give you the exact answer if it turns out that they have the same refrigerator as you and experienced the identical problem.

Hitchhiker's suggestion sounds good but where is the thermocouple ?????
Looking in at the burner area I only see the chimney pipe and stack and higher up is the ac and dc power lines. Can't get at the wrap on the stack to fix the thermo if its up there.
Guess I'm going to get ripped by a tech service guy.

The tip of the thermocouple would be located at the point where the flame would be if it were lit. It's purpose is to provide a milivoltage to the gas valve to keep it open after the flame starts. If it doesn't generate any milivoltage and send it to the gas valve, the flame will die out.
Sometimes they'll get a little bit of rusty scale on them if they're used infrequently and the heat can't penetrate into it with enough temperature to generate the needed milivoltage.

Hitchhiker... I've looked closely at the burner area and above the gas manifold is the igniter and above that (nothing) Could the thermocouple be
other than in the direct flame.
Or could the igniter rod serve as the thermocouple too.
Maybe I have an orphan system in the old girl.

Thermocouple is located in the gas flame right by the ignitor, Suggest cleaning of the burner and possible recheck of the ignitor air gap. New thermocpuples can be purchased seperately and installed if defective
