Angry Fridge hinge bolts popping out

A week ago I opened my fridge door and the top hinge bolt popped out and later on the bottom hinge bolt popped out. This is annoying how do I fix it ?
It is a Norcold two door one door for the freezer and another for the cooler. Are there replacement bolts? When I screwed them back in they didn't stay in like they should, is this a common problem or am I just lucky?

You are in luck. Try some thread lock and re-install bolts. If that does not work, try a bolt that has a coarser thread per inch. Good luck and keep us posted.

I will agree with Locktite.. Locktite makes a compound that is for holes that are stripped

This assumes it is a bolt, however, not a screw if it is a screw there are other repairs including a slightly larger screw.. But if it is a bolt, designed to screw into a threaded fitting, the locktite "Fix it" stuff, generally works well. Do not overtighten, which is what caused the problem.

You can get replacement Norcold screws from PPL.

I fixed the problem; drilled out the hinges, put in cap screws from the top so they can't fall out with locknuts.

Damn bolts Grrrrrr

I used loc-tite or at least the Purolater version of it and it didn't hold the bolts in they popped out yesterday after about a week.

Next is to get new bolts when I get to Camper's World if that doesn't work I will start drilling and put in my own bolts with a washer and lock nut.

You would think after all these years making these fridges these folks would get it right by now, but look at all the problems we are having with them .... something has gone wrong with these companies they are making crappy expensive appliances and the resolution isn't cheap either. I guess I am a little P.O.'d
