I have a 1995 southwind and I did a test run of my RV today, since we were planning a trip next weekend. Had the front A/C (not the dash A/C) just blowing regular air, since it is nice outside, then it got a little warm so I turned it from fan to cool and that was it. The thing quit; no cool air, no regular air, nothing.

I really need the A/C to work. If it isn't a quick fix then no trip. We cannot budget a mechanic to see the RV till spring.

My DH has checked all of the simple stuff and read the manuel...he has no clue other than the A/C just died.

Anyone have any suggestions?

It may have just went into a time delay (3 to 5 minutes). Check the circuit breaker(s). If running the generator be sure to check those as well as the in house electrical distribution panel. If these are good you may have a loose connection on any of the control circuits (T'stat and control board on air conditioner unit) or on the 120 vac electrical conductors. Can you give us the make and model number if this does not help. Thank you.
