Fuel leak Powertech Generator

I've got a fuel leak where the fuel line and return line come into the generator bottom right corner on the back side. It looks to me like the generator would have to come out to replace the lines. The generator is on a slide out but it looks to me like the back, side and top would have to come off to access that area. We are traveling and I found a place, Corbin RV in Fredricksburg Va, that services Powertech which is on our way. So that's my plan for the am.

Just taking a stab at it that someone else here might have had the lines replaced and what the cost was?

I do plan to call Powertech in FL where they are made, as the have a service dept., and ask them what's involved in the am also. What a design, drips right on the exhaust pipe.

You will have fitting on the generator that external lines will connect to. Most likely it is those external lines that are failing. It should not be too bad except to get to the top of the fuel tank and sending unit.

Fuel leak Powertech Generator

RV Wizard the leak is (was) inside the generator not where the lines connect on the outside.

But the answer to my question from Powertech is that the generator has to come out of the slide out as all the metal case has to be removed to access the inside connections for the incoming and return fuel lines.

Corbin Auto Truck and RV in Fredricksburg VA took care of the leak yesterday, $437 total for the repair.

Just putting this out there for anyone with a Powertech generator, according to their service center all their generators are built this way and all the "tin" needs to be removed to change the fuel lines.
