Sick and tired of every year replacing my suburban furnace. Any one know if aquahot can be put into an existing rv?

Beast, please read about this subject on the Aquahot system. I thought about doing the same thing. Until I read the system rust out to often. They made a steel tank, and as you know steel and water don't mix. There is a system out there, Heatpump. Is it not just like the one in your home. You have a generator and there is Shore Power. I would like to make my home total electric. Hot water, heat and air conditioning. Unless someone can tell me or explain to me why not.

My old bounder (95) had the same condition. Bottom line, new board fixed it right up . Best $100 i'd spent, up to this point. Biggest hassle was getting the propane feed pipe out of the way so the furnace was released. In my case, we removed the feed pipe running from the main underbelly supply line to the furnace and replaced it with a flexible hose of higher pressure rating.

THANKS...

For the feedback. We will try fixing the suburban, meanwhile we need to find another gas blown air furnace that actually works.

Hammerdown

Thanks for your suggestions. Was having the same problem with my suburban in my 2007 sightseer. Cleaned all connections and that didn't help. Pulled the unit, disassembled and cleaned up the spark probe. Now all is good.

Big Help. THANKS

Replacing? Why in the world would you replace it every year?
What is wrong with it to keep replacing? You do know the service parts are cheap and they are easily repaired?

Beast, I think if you do some checking you'll find Suburban furnaces have a pretty good reputation.

Why yours doesn't match that might be due to whoever is doing the work on it for you. There's not that much to it, and the same technology has been in use on them, without change, since the early 80's.
