Furnace Registers Blocked by Loose Foil Inside

In my Thor Miramar Class A motorhome, I have floor vents/registers used to deliver heat from the furnace. Through the vents, what looks like a piece of aluminum foil or foil tape can be seen inside. The foil in both of our long registers have come up and are now blocking air flow coming out. I unscrewed the vent from the floor and attempted to push the foil tape back down, but it has come back up again.

Has anyone run into this issue yet? Did you remove the foil tape or did you replace it with fresh tape?

Hello MsHappyCampers! Thank you for the warm welcome. I came over Mt. Monteagle and nearly drove off the road on one of the turns when a semi truck was taking the turn more aggressively than I was in the lane next to me. I'm doing my best to keep it straight!

To follow up on this thread, I took out one of my vents and removed the loose foil that is supposed to be tape down at the bottom of the vent. I pulled out all of the excess saw dust and replaced the foil with some I picked up from Lowes tonight. I'm going to test this out for a few nights, if all works well I'll take care of the vent near the bathroom.
