Furnace won't light
OK guys, here is another one for ya.
When I move tstat to heat, the unit kicks on the fan.
All I get is a propane odor.
I have to mention that my propane regulator went bad, and I had full tank pressure into system for about a minute before I shut the tanks off.
My stove, fridge, and water heater are OK, and functioning as they should.
I knew i had a problem, when my fridge burner was like a flame thrower.
Anyway, not sure if it's a circuit board issue.
Thanks

First thing you should do is verify that the main LP gas pressure is 11" W.C. Then tear down the unit, service and clean everything. Re-assemble igniter and bench test without LP gas turned on. You can inspect the operation of igniter spark or lack thereof. There are service manuals that will help you diagnose problems but more than likely after cleaning and insuring 3/16" igniter gap the unit will operate as per design.

That will be my next step, thank you.
3/16" is the typical gap we want to see then ?

1. are you getting full 12v? if on batteries only, low voltage will run fan but furnace won't light.
2. Sail switch must open when fan comes on
3. Circuit board may be bad.
#3 was my problem... replaced circuit board and everything was fine. have local RV repair check theboard. new board was about 100 bucks; search youtube for doityourself video

Yes ...
Full voltage.
RV in my yard, plugged in to house power.
I did a board in my fridge once already.
I used the "dinosaur" board, and will use again if it's the culprit.

3/16" per mfg. design. If you are smelling odorant in LP the sail switch is closed and you have sufficient voltage for proper operation if everything else is correct.
