Good Day Folks!

We've purchased a 1999 Sea View and it has Generac Generator in it wth less than 30 hours on it... When we first purchased the RV we had the generator running and it worked just fine, then we blew a breaker trying to run both ACs and a vaccuum... Now nothing works...
We replaced the regulator as was advised because the little red light wasn't on...
Now we're at a loss... Still no power... I've read the belt should last the life of the o'l RV, but its rubber and its been sitting around for 12+ years... So our next step is to check the belt...
IS there ANYTHING else we should be looking for??? It is the QP55 and like i said, it starts and runs just fine... We've replaced and checke dall the wires at the front, and we're about to drop it out so we can get to the brushes and the stator...
Any advice on things to look for would be awesome!!!
My dad is at the point where he wants to trash this pile of junk (the generator not the RV) and put an Onan in...

There's a reason they're also called "Genajunk"
We had one, a propane 6.2KW. Worked OK while we had it other than overheating, using a LOT of propane and was noisy.

There may be a push button to reset a built in breaker on the generator that needs to be reset. On my portable ( ? ) 5Kw it has those push buttons.

My '99 Dolphin has the QP55 with 1100 hrs. Go here: Generac Power Systems - Manual Search and type in your Model number to get a Manual. If you have trouble, I have the manual and the troubleshooting guide I can send you privately.

I'll assume the "blew a breaker" was the breaker(s) on the genny itself. If not you'll certainly want to cycle those to be sure they on in the ON position. It sounds like you've already replaced the Voltage Regulator Board (which is the one that faces outwards). The engine control board faces forward and has several spade connectors plugged into it. It's my understanding these originals were nortorius for going bad. I had to replace mine recently due to the automatic choke not working. I do not know if the ECB would have anything to do with generator output itself.

To me, it seems unlikely the genny would not be putting anything out anything if the voltage regulator's little red light is now on. Does all the 120VAC plugs/circuits work when plugged in to shore power? Have you put a multi-meter to the output terminals of the genny?
