Hello ,
I am new to iRV2 Forums. Not new to RV'ing or camping. My husband and I have a 1997 Pursuit . Everything has worked fine untill 2 weeks ago , we ran the Kohler generator for 2 hours , It shut off , will not start again .
Carburetor was cleaned (apart) , fuel full and good , spark plug -new , filter- new ,
Anyone have an idea what to do next ?
Thanks !

Not sure if this will help but have you looked at the oil level or the AC to it for the starter?

Just a thought

You say fuel is full. Is gas getting to the carb? Can you remove the fuel line from the carb, try to start it and make sure the fuel pump is pumping fuel to the carb?

Got generator back , so far it starts and runs good. The control board was replaced , the starter was rebuilt ,( the brushes had to be replaced) , the generator was removed and cleaned . We found out that at some time , it had caught on fire and some wires were burned . If it had not been removed , would not have found them !! The "Pro" really knew what he was doing and the cost was very reasonable . We will keep his phone # on file and hope we don't need it again .

Hi RV Folks !
Our Kolor Generator is acting up again !!!
It ran good for awhile , now it will run for about 10 or 15 minutes then just stop . It won't start again for 30 minutes or so and quits again after 10 minutes .
We have checked all the usual "again" .
Last time it was the circuit board , hope it's not that again !

Anyone have an idea ?
Thanks

Best place to go for generator/small engine help... Kohler Generators - SmokStak

Just make SURE you have all the numbers needed to identify the generator.. there are many variation even in the same model line..

Ask for a manual too.. usually will get one.
