Getting ready to install a generator

Bought an LP genset and hope to install it in my 2010 XLR next week. Any advice?

Get extra LP bottles. Make sure exhaust is not under a slide out.

National Electric Code (at least my '93 version) does not allow it to be installed in a compartment with batteries other than what it charges (gen batteries).

Prevents sparks where fuel is used..

Time to get a new NEC..

What makes you think the batteries are so close? They are in their own separate compartment.
