Here is another question for you experts. When I start my generator the GFI breaker trips. I can reset it and it stays reset through the generator use, shutdown, and connection of shore power. Any ideas on why it would trip when the generator is started?

Thanks

Sometimes if there is a load on the circuit, and the genny is getting up to speed, it can cause it to trip. Try turning aff all loads, run for a min. then apply loads. Other than that I dont know.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it still seems to be tripping. Even with no load on it.
