Hard start capacitors

I recently got a generator for boondocking and need to install a hard start capacitor in my AC. Its a Coleman-mach, 15000 btu ac on a 2016 trailer. I believe the correct capacitor is a Supco SPP6. Am I correct or completely in left field. Thanks.

Does the micro-air require two units if you have two roof a/c's or does one take care of both?

I replaced one of mine (burnt-out) with SPPS6, worked like a boss and only 10.99 on Amazon.

in the meantime, you can get close to that by turning on one at a time, low fan first, then high fan, then cool.... and leave one on cool all the time - NOT auto - to stop it from cycling...

Being in the A/C business for 40 years I can say that you may replace the capacitor with any other brand. As long as you stay within + or - 10% of the original capacitor's micro fard rating!

That goes for run or start capacitors.

Hope this helps!

Try the SPP6 and if it works, problem solved. If the SPP6 wont start the AC, look into the Micro Air device.
