Heat Pump dripping

This AM (4:30) I was awakened to wet feet. It seems that my heat pump came on and started dripping water. I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 40PDQ with DuoTherm ACs. I took the cover off the AC unit and cleaned up the water but could see nothing that indicated leaking. It was 46 degrees outside and the pump came on as I had it set to 60 degrees.
Does anyone have any ideas why this happened and what can I do to prevent it?

Thanks, Mike

Some AC's have a hose for draining the water out of drip pan that may become clogged and need to be cleaned out.
Your drip pan should have drain holes that need to be clear one of mine I had to enlarge a hole for drainage.
If water collects in pan fan will blow water droplets into vent system and drip on your floor.

I suspected a plugged drain hose but was unable to find it. I took off both the inside cover and the outside cover to no avail.
I will have to do a better look see tomorrow.

Thanks, Mike

If I am not quite level my BR A/C will drip. I have not yet checked the drain holes but after 4 years I am sure attention is needed. Actually I meant my trailer being level not me because after a couple of bourbons I would have a flood.

Thanks for that info. 007. I didn't know what I was looking at when I was on the roof but now I have an understanding and can fix the problem.

Thanks again, Mike
