Heater fan makes a racket?
Turned on the heater for the first time in the new trailer that we purchased in July. Sounded like a jackhammer going off! Couldn’t see anything when we looked into it. Of course we should have tested it before we needed it on a 38 degree night! Fortunately we have a “fireplace” which provided enough heat to keep the camper in the 60s.
Is there an obvious fix? We’ll take it back to our dealer who is great at service (Three Way in Atlanta), but we have 5 nights to go...

Probably something caught in the fan/blower.

This being a new trailer (as opposed to new to you), I suspect that the issue may be with trash leftover from the build of the coach being sucked into the fan. These are typically "squirrel cage" fans, and any trash will make a racket.
Another possibility is that the fan has been damaged or just built wrong.
This is not something I would try to address on the road, personally. This SHOULD have been caught during your PDI, but that's water under the bridge now. My approach would be to call the dealer for an appointment while you are camping, and take it to them on your return.
In the meantime, if you are not "boondocking" (you have electric service), take a trip to the nearest home improvement / hardware store and buy an electric heater if your fireplace is not keeping the coach as comfortable as you want, most are reasonably priced and should allow you to heat the bedroom. Be sure to watch that you don't over load the circuit you plug the heater into; would be best that you understand what the capacity of that circuit is before you go shopping for the electric heater.
I probably don't have to say it, but NO PROPANE HEATERS INSIDE THE COACH.
Last, don't let this ruin your vacation time. Your time away is precious, and this is not something that needs to ruin it. A space heater will solve the problem temporarily, so long as you are comfortable it is only an inconvenience.

I recently found a dead mouse in my squirrel cage type blower in my rear furnace.
A dead mouse may not be your problem, but there is probably something in there causing it to be out of balance. Mine sounded like a small gasoline engine running.
I used a pair of forceps to reach in to remove the corpse...

If it's new, I'd go with the manufacturing debris in the blower. Open the outside cover to gain access to the blower. You can visually inspect it for debris. Spin it with your fingers. See if it runs true.
Going to a dealer when you can as least determine if it is something simple or warrants a dealer is a waste of time when you still have a few days of your trip remaining.

If nothing is found in the cage, check the motor. I had similar symptoms, turns out the motor had thrown a couple of ball bearings. Actually found them in the styrofoam around the furnace, 1st thought was some kid had been using da bus for target practice.
New motor and was good to go. Installing the motor, now that’s a whole separate post.
