Hello all
This is my 1st post here and I need some help. My visor back-up cam and power mirrors are no longer working. I have checked all fuses and came up with two that are blowing (this is in a 2001 Ford Trition V-10 E-450 Super Duty Gulf Stream Conquest Classic). #12 (15 amp) under the dash marked "Transmission Range (TR) Sensor, Auxiliary Battery Relay" and the other is under the hood. The one under the hood had a 10 amp fuse. I have some pictures of the one under the hood.

Any help you might give me would be great. Thanks so much, Tony

Tony, first let me welcome you to our website and forum. We are glad to have you join us here. The power feeding the backup camera and possibly the mirror motors would be on a seperate fuse from the transmission sensor. It may even come from a fuse block on the inside of the unit. Have you looked in the owners manual for the power mirror fuse # and location? I might even recommend you call the manufacturer of the coach and ask them where this fuse is located. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

Strange indeed. The mirrors on a Class C should be part of the chassis/cab wiring while the rear camera is an odd-on from the coach builder. Hard to guess where the coach builder might have powered the camera from, though. This can vary enormously from model to model, even from the same manufacturer.

I would be a bit surprised if either of the fuses you mentioned are the power sources for mirrors or camera, but obviously there is a problem if they are blown. The Aux Battery relay probably provides charging to aux (house) batteries, though, and the fuse may power the relay (solenoid) even though it does not pass power o the house battery itself.
