Help! Norcold Sparker - DOESN'T!
I'm hoping somebody has seen this before and can help me solve this problem. I have a NORCOLD Model 1211MT serno 12151178. Last night my batteries ran all the way down and while the refer was on LP. In the middle of the night, I got the LP FL message indicating no flame. Predictable I thought, once I charge the batteries in the morning it will be okay. I turned the refer off and went to bed. The next morning, after charging the batteries, I still couldn't get it to light.
I had the wife turn it on while I watched the burner. I saw the spark one time but it burner did not light. The spark wasn't all that great but was clearly visible.
I then tried lighting the burner manually. That worked just fine and the refer works fine when manually lit.
So, my question is, what would cause the sparker to only spark once. Shouldn't it keep trying if it doesn't light on the first try?
Thanks in advance.

For fun completly turn off power, unplug ac and turn off 12 volts.
While power off look for moisture or crud by spark gap, clean it anyway.
By this time the control board should be reset, you also may need the magnet trick, power up and try it

We understand one of the norcold recall adds a box that has a safety switch that resets with a magnet, search norcold magnet

clean burner and igniter making sure gap between the two are 5/16". If that does not repair the problem, you may have a bad igniter (cracked porcelain) shorting out before it reaches the burner. Replace igniter and retest. And last but not least is the control board. If you have to remove for replacement, you might look at the solder joints where the coil for the igniter is connected to the board and try re-soldering any bad looking joints. Good luck and keep us posted.

I appreciate all the suggestions and have tried everything mentioned. The STRANGE part is that it sparks once, but only once. And that apparently isn't adequate to light the burner. I can light the burner manually after that and the refer runs fine on LP. It is the startup ignition sequence that looks broken. I see a few overheated areas (brown) on the circuit board. I suspect that is probably the culprit and ordered a new board. It should be here next week and I'll update then.

I received the new board today. I installed it and it fixed the problem. Previously, I would get one and only one spark from the igniter during the flame trial period. After changing the board, the igniter sparked continuously until the flame was lit.
The local RV dealer wanted $347 for the board. I bought it online for $136 from American RV. The board was brand new, packaged in new, unopened packaging and worked perfectly. Way to go American RV. Shame on Allegiance RV in Ocala, FL.
