Help with inverter/charger choice.

I'm apealling to the educated/experienced fine folks here. Need to replace the inverter/charger (long story) in our 2000 American Eagle DP.

The choices are both by Xantrex, the Freedom 458 3000w or the RS3000. The RS unit will cost me about $750 more by time it's all said and done. The 458 is a Modified Sine Wave unit, and the RS is a Pure Sine Wave unit.

We have 2 LCD tv's and 2 computers that we will be using. Most of our time will be on shore power, but we also plan on some short term boondocking also. This will also become our home when we go full time in about 6 months.

Thanks for your help.
Kerry

I would go with the pure sine wave. From what I understand some electronics don't handle the modified sine wave well.
