In that pic you have nothing hooked up to battery post #1 (or#2), so you're not actually switching anything the way it is set up. It's always powered.

It's always a good idea to research something (instructions/how to's for just about anything are on the internet) you're not sure about, BEFORE going ahead with any project. It can save you from sometimes costly or even dangerous mistakes.

yes mitch you are correct.. it was getting late and dark and I was determained to finish it. never pays to rush I know. If you see my dometic 310 thread you'll know I do very much take my time to a fault.. some times. Thanks!
