This unit is several years old. I set the temp and it works fine blows hot, however have woken up to it just oscillating and blowing air. Thought I'd see if anyone else may have encountered this. May just need to replace.

As this manual says any over heat of unit it will shut down and has to be reset.
Its a safety feature I'm sure built in to all their units.

I found the manual for the HCH4920 and have a email in to their support. The unit will work straight "manual" however acts up on the automatic accutemp side. I believe the accutemp is the problem. I like that feature as the unit is not operating all the time. I'll wait for Holmes response. Txs
